CAPE CANAVERAL, FL – Sigmatech, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of their Cape Canaveral, Florida office supporting the newly formed Directorate of Launch and Range Operations, Headquarters Space Systems Command (HQ SSC/S3). The Sigmatech Florida office, a cornerstone in empowering our warfighters through assured access to space, provides launch and range operations technical support for planning, budgeting, resource analysis, requirements development, and mission operations under the Launch, Range, and Network (LRN) II contract.
Sigmatech Florida personnel support Headquarters Space Systems Command (HQ SSC) and other Department of the Air Force organizations by assisting with launch forecasting, planning, scheduling, and mission analysis; Eastern and Western Range operations; workflow management and document control; launch and range requirements development; and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, & Execution activities. Some Sigmatech personnel have relocated from Colorado Springs and other offices to Florida to allow close customer support at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and Patrick Space Force Base, and more are planned to follow.
Operations at the Florida office serve as an arm of Sigmatech’s Space Operations Division in Colorado Springs and continue the legacy of the Division’s 25 years of support to DoD space access activities. The office space is located within an historic launch control center on the third-largest wildlife refuge in the country and is fully equipped with two private offices, shared conference area, video teleconference capability, and dedicated high-speed wireless internet access for guests. The high launch cadence at Cape Canaveral and close proximity to a variety of tourist activities such as Disney World Resorts and Brevard County’s sunny beaches mean there’s plenty to do and see whether the team is in the office or out in the community.
