Sigmatech Sponsors New Flagpole at the Madison City Stadium.

MADISON, AL – American Legion Post 229, Madison County, the Madison City School Board, and SIGMATECH, INC., have partnered to erect a new flagpole and American flag at the Madison City Stadium.

It is time to replace the current, well-worn pole and flag. The new 60-foot flagpole will proudly fly a 15’X25’ large American flag. The joint project was announced on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., by Colonel (Retired) Larry Vannoy, Commander, Madison American Legion Post 229. The announcement was made on-site at the Madison City Stadium, 211 Celtic Drive.

COL (R) Vannoy stated:

This patriotic project has been made possible by a very generous donation from our corporate partner, SIGMATECH, INC. The large display of “Old Glory” during events will reflect the Madison Schools students’, parents’, and administration’s love of our Country and its Veterans. Madison American Legion Post 229 is proud to be part of this extraordinary project.
