Sigmatech is Awarded $64.9M UAS Contract
Nov 02, 2017 - Sigmatech, headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, was awarded a contract 1 November 2017 with an approximate value of $64.9M to provide engineering and technical support services to the U.S. Army Aviation Program Executive Office, for Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Project Office, to include Small Unmanned Aircraft System (SUAS), Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System (TUAS), Gray Eagle Extended Range Multi-Purpose (ERMP), One System Remote Video Terminal (OSRVT), Universal Ground Control Station (UGCS), and Ground Based Sense and Avoid (GBSAA). This agreement includes engineering and technical support that will address new technological insertions to new UAS or legacy UAS and UAS sub-systems, such as Payload, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) initiatives (i.e. Federated Universal Synchronization Engine (FUSE), Wide Area Airborne Surveillance (WAAS), and Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T)); new systems include (potentially) improved Gray Eagle, TUAS or SUAS, and TOGA; while legacy systems include Hunter, Warrior-A, One System GCS (OSGCS) and external and foreign military sale UAS programs.
